Biography

Jennifer A. Parks advocates for the families she serves with one goal in mind: ensuring that they emerge from their experience with a fresh start on life's next chapter. She understands, through personal exposure to divorce, that it takes the right temperament to be an effective divorce attorney. And most importantly, that it takes more than just studying the law. Its understanding the impact this process has on people's lives.

Jen provides passionate yet practical advocacy for all her clients whether they are going through the divorce process, involved in paternity matters, or find themselves in post-decree proceedings after divorce. She strives to give her clients a service that is rooted in empathy, patience, and understanding. She also takes seriously her role as her clients' legal advisor, which means she is always transparent on what the client needs to hear, but maybe does not always want to hear. That is the ultimate role of a counselor.

Extremely detailed oriented, she prides herself on taking the time and extra steps to ensure she knows all the facts and circumstances of a client's case, and brings that knowledge into the courtroom and beyond, when representing her clients. The detailed attention to the client's case is what makes all the difference in family law litigation.

Jen has exclusively practiced family law since becoming licensed in 2017. Her practice spans across Cook, DuPage, and Lake counties.

Jen was admitted to the Michigan bar in 2023 so that she can serve clients in Illinois and back in her home state of Michigan.
